Position Overview

These roles, offered under the EPWP, are designed to provide meaningful work experience and support the government’s broader service delivery objectives.

Key Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet the following:

  • Education: A recognized Bachelor’s Degree, National Diploma, or equivalent qualification in a related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with EPWP and its objectives
    • Understanding of intergovernmental relations
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication (verbal and written)
    • Coordination and stakeholder engagement
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to work under pressure and travel when required

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will assist in implementing EPWP initiatives and carry out tasks such as:

  • Maintaining and updating EPWP databases
  • Capturing monthly progress reports
  • Generating exception reports and reconciling data
  • Tracking provincial reports and ensuring accuracy
  • Supporting internal management with performance updates
